AFFWA not only promotes skill development of Sanginis but also work towards shaping the future of our country by contributing towards providing basic education facility to under privileged children. Umeed Vidya Kiran schools run by AFFWA provide informal education to the underprivileged children staying in the Air Force camps. The children of servants, casual labourers and villagers nearby are taught in these schools. These schools are up to the primary level. Mid day meals are provided to the children here to help them in their physical growth.
