Vayan is a welfare initiative by the Air Force Families Welfare Association for the empowerment of the Air Force Ladies and Veer Naris. It’s an outcome of the monumental Knittathon drive; a special knitting project under which the ladies of the Indian Air Force knitted a total of 41,541 woollen caps for the underprivileged. This rare feat was one of its kind and the Association was awarded with the World Record under the category of ‘Largest display of Hand Knitted Caps’. Through Vayan, finest quality of handmade woollen products are knitted by our members supporting thus supporting Aathmanirbharatha.
