Mrs Richa Tiwari

Mrs Richa Tiwari was born on 31 May at Lucknow. She joined the Air Force family after her marriage to Air Mshl N Tiwari on 06 Dec 94.

She has studied in IT College, Lucknow and did B.Sc Honours in Organis Chemistry. She did her Masters in Cytology (Cell Biology) and also holds a Diploma in Interior Decoration.

Mrs Richa Tiwari has always been an active member of AFFWA in various capacities. She has spearheaded the welfare work for Sanginis as President AFFWA (Local) at Air Force Station Uttarlai and Air Force Station Jodhpur. The opportunity to work with Umeed Schools at Gwalior, Uttarlai and Jodhpur; has opened a new horizon of satisfaction achieved through realisation of being, “fortunate enough to be able to work for less fortunates”. She was actively involved in Knittathon and was heading “PRERNA” in Air HQ Delhi.

She is an avid reader along with being a learner of new languages, love for gardening and has a classic taste in Interior decoration. She is a perfectionist, who with her unyielding determination channelises her energy towards “making a difference”. Her vision is to “not to be a Popular Principal rather a Principal of Principles”.

The couple is blessed with two daughters. The elder one, Trishita Tiwari has studied Computer Engineering at Boston University (USA) and is presently pursuing her PhD in Cyber Security at Cornell University. The younger daughter, Sangya Tiwari did a double major in Political Science and Quantitative Economics at Colby College (USA) and is currently working as a forensic and litigation consultant at a consulting company in Denver, USA.

She has special love for pets and her current favourite is a stray cat whom she adopted and gave special place in her heart by calling her “Meaow”.
